Archives for the Ruby Elite Model
This archive file was created to store audio clips, photos and specifications of John Walker Guitar's Ruby Elite Model guitar by serial number. Some of these specific guitars are built using the baseline specifications, while others have been modified with
different woods, inlays or other modifications to make the instrument unique.
The Ruby is my interpretation of a small bodied jumbo guitar. The small body makes it easy to hold and to play.
In addition to the specifications on the standard "Ruby", with the Ruby Elite there is a choice for the body/sides to be either Indian Rosewood or Curly Maple, also included in the body construction is a marquetry back strip.
The neck is a two (2) piece Eastern Red Maple, and the neck and peghead has the choice of either Ivoroid or Tortoise binding. As a final touch, the Elite includes Gold Waverly tuners with Ebony buttons.
