Warranty


John Walker Guitars are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship subject to the limitations outlined below. If at any time your John Walker instrument malfunctions as a result of defective materials or workmanship, John Walker Guitars will repair or replace the instrument at our sole discretion. John Walker Guitars will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

Additionally, we are committed to using the finest finish materials available on your John Walker guitar, but cracking and/or checking can occur as a result of adverse climatic conditions. The cracks and/or checks in the finish are not covered under this warranty.

How to exercise warranty claims:

In the event that warranty service is required for your John Walker instrument, you will need to contact either John Walker or Deb Sonnenberg at (406) 864-4369 or through our web site e-mail. We will then authorize you to return the instrument to us, or to a repairperson at our sole discretion.

No warranty work may be done without written authorization and work done without written authorization may void your warranty.

Upon receipt of your instrument (regardless of location), we will notify you of the work that needs to be completed as well as the estimated completion date. If we discover that additional non-warranty work is needed we will contact you to discuss and request authorization to proceed.

The instrument owner is responsible for any shipping charges incurred, including excess value and shipping insurance.

In the event a fire, theft or damage occurs while your instrument is located at John Walker Guitars, our responsibility shall be limited to replacement with a new instrument of the same or most similar available model.
